Dubai’s iconic tower Burj Khalifa has been lit up with words ‘Guest of Honor – Republic of India’ ahead of prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address at World Government Summit.

Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum extended a warm welcome to PM Modi and said that the strong ties between the two nations signifies robust bilateral relations.

Taking to X, Dubai"s Crown Prince stated, “We extend a warm welcome to the Republic of India, the guest of honour at this year"s World Governments Summit, and to His Excellency Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. The strong ties between our nations serve as a model for international cooperation.”

PM Modi is on a two-day official visit to the UAE, will meet UAE Vice President Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. During his visit, he will also inaugurate the BAPS temple in Abu Dhabi.

PM Modi and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday held bilateral talks and exchanged several Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in presence of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra.
