Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding is indeed going to be a grand affair. The Ambani family has reportedly hired three Falcon-2000 jets to ferry guests for the wedding.
Rajan Mehra, CEO of air charter company Club One Air, said that besides hiring three Falcon-2000 jets, the Ambanis are also expected to use over 100 private planes for the festivities, adding that “the guests are coming from all over and each aircraft will make multiple trips across the country.”
The wedding will be held at Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. Roads near the venue will be open only for the events-bound vehicles between 1 pm and midnight July 12-15. Hence, Mumbaikars will witness road traffic coming to a halt in the places near the venue.
The wedding festivities will last for three consecutive days, beginning with the ‘Shubh Vivah on July 12, followed by ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13, and concluding with the ‘Mangal Utsav’ on July 14.
The mega event will witness guests coming from around the world, including Bollywood and Hollywood actors, business tycoons and many political figures, among others.
