Union Minister Smriti Irani visited Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya to offer her prayers to Ram Lalla at the newly inaugurated temple on Sunday.
A video surfaced online where Irani can be seen standing in a queue for Darshan at the Temple. She prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and for the country’s prosperity.
“... I consider myself fortunate that I am born in an era which has seen Ram Lalla"s journey from a tent to a grand temple in a larger-than-life celebration. The blessings of saints and seers increase mental stability but also encourage one to walk on the right path. Today I prayed for the welfare of the nation and the well-being of the Prime Minister, and the prosperity of the country...” Smriti said after she sought her blessings from the deity.
The Ram Temple had its grand inauguration ceremony on January 22 this year and witnessed a footfall of approximately 1.5 crore people so far since then to seek blessings of Ram Lalla.
