The oil marketing companies across India slashed prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 30 with effect from July 1, including in metro cities of Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and New Delhi.
Following the revision in prices, the gas cylinders will now be priced at Rs 1,756 in Kolkata from 1,787, Rs 1,598 in Mumbai from Rs 1,629. Additionally, the prices will stand at Rs 1,809 in Chennai down from Rs 1,840 and Rs 1,646, down from Rs 1,676 in the national capital.
The rate of commercial LPG was reduced by around Rs 69 on June 1 and slashed by Rs 19 per cylinder on May 1.
However, the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cooking cylinders remain unchanged and will continue to be sold at ₹803 in Delhi, ₹829 in Kolkata, ₹818.50 in Chennai and ₹802.50 in Mumbai.
