Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set his foot at Ayodhya’s Ram temple and will begin Pran-Pratishtha of Lord Rama Lalla shortly. He has crossed five mandaps and entered the main temple to conduct the auspicious rituals.
The grand event will take place in the presence of 7,000 prominent figures including actors, sportspersons, industrialists, politicians, saints and 100 representatives from different countries.
Meanwhile, photos and videos show various personalities from the film industries have started arriving at the temple.
PM Modi has been following a strict 11-day diet regime which included him sleeping on the floor with only a blanket and drinking pure coconut water ahead of the sacred consecration ceremony. He also visited several temples across India and took a holy dip at Rameshwaram Beach to purify himself spiritually.
The Prime Minister is also set to address a public meeting after Pran-Pratishtha ceremony gets over at 1 pm.
