After a short hiatus, fans will get back their favourite actor Rajkummar Rao as lead in the upcoming biopic of veteran industrialist Srikanth Bolla titled Srikanth. The movie is scheduled for its theatrical release on May 10 this year.
Besides Rajkummar, the biopic also stars Jyothika, Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar in prominent roles and is helmed by Tushar Hiranandani from a script written by Jagdeep Sidhu and Sumit Purohit.
Rajkummar took to Instagram earlier today to share a video to give a glimpse of his first look from his upcoming movie ‘Srikanth’. The short clip was captivating and indeed enough to give us a hint about Rajkummar’s promise to deliver the most-awaited stellar performance. The video features the actor as blind and running towards his goal, expressing high hopes on his face.
The actor also captioned the video as, “A journey that will inspire you to open your eyes! Aap sabka nazariya badalne aa raha hai #Srikanth. Releasing in cinemas on 10th May 2024.”
Srikanth Bolla, on whom the biopic is based upon, is an Indian entrepreneur who, despite being visually impaired, went on to pursue his dreams and founded Bollant industries – an organisation that employs unskilled and differently-abled individuals to manufacture eco-friendly products. He was born in a small village near Hyderabad in 1992.
