Over the years, Deepika Padukone has established herself as a fine actress in the Bollywood industry and became a global icon owing to her superior acting prowess. And now, with her tremendous dedication and sheer hard work, the ‘Piku’ actress has become the highest paid actress in the Hindi cinema, beating Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and other leading female stars.
As per reports, Deepika – the biggest female actress - charges around Rs 15-20 crore per project. Whereas, Alia Bhatt grabs the second position with Rs 15 crore fees per film, while Kareena Kapoor Khan charges somewhere around Rs 8-11 crore per film. Kareena will be next seen in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders which has no male co-star.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif books the fourth slot with charges anything around Rs 8-10 crore. She is known to have been paid more than her male co-stars in movies like Phone Bhoot and Merry Christmas, where she shared the screen with Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi.
In addition, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu are known to charge around between Rs 5 and 8 crore per film. Kriti’s net worth is now rising as she has delivered outstanding performances in some hit movies such as Mimi and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
Deepika Padukone was lately seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD and is currently on a maternity break. She will be next seen in Singham Again, helmed by Rohit Shetty. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani and Hollywood flick Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot.
