Shah Rukh Khan is not only a legend, but a heartthrob of millions worldwide. With a career spanning over 30 years in the Bollywood industry, he has established himself as a leading actor for his acting prowess. And now the ‘Dunki’ star has added another feather to his cap.

The Grévin Museum in Paris will honour King Khan with a customised gold coin. With this remarkable achievement, Shah Rukh Khan becomes the first Bollywood actor to have garnered this prestige.

The Grévin Museum is popular for wax statues of various renowned artists. For the unversed, the 58-year-old legendary actor also has a wax statue at the venue and across the US, UK, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Thailand, India, Singapore, and Australia.

Previously, in 2011, Shah Rukh Khan was awarded UNESCO’s Pyramide con Marni award for his involvement in philanthropic endeavours related to children"s education, making him the first Indian actor with this prestigious accolade.

In addition, SRK will be honoured with the career achievement award by the Locarno Film Festival, that will take place from August 7 to 17. SRK’s iconic Devdas (2002), directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will also be screened during the 11-day festival. The ‘Pathaan’ actor will be handed over this award for his excellence in his career and significant contributions to Indian cinema.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan’s recent series of blockbuster movies included ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’. Reportedly, the actor will be seen in a film titled ‘King’ which will also star his daughter Suhana Khan. The movie will be helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand.
