West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is expected to visit Mumbai on Friday (July 12) to attend the wedding reception of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani’s, Nabanna sources said, adding that the TMC supremo could travel to the city on July 11 and return Kolkata on July 13.
Banerjee will also meet SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray to hold talks over the role of the opposition on the ways of how to counter BJP’s “anti-people policies” during the budget session of the Parliament, scheduled from July 22 to August 12.
Sources informed that Banerjee had instructed the Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs to raise their voice against any anti-people steps by the BJP.
The wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will take place on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC) in Mumbai. Their wedding will be followed by divine blessings (Shubh Aashirvad) and a grand wedding reception on July 13.
