Kalki 2898 AD hit the big screens on June 27 and has been winning numerous hearts since then. Ranveer Singh recently watched the sci-fi movie starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas and lauded the stellar performances of every actor.

He shared a poster of Kalki 2898 AD on his Instagram story and penned a note praising the actors, including his wife, Deepika.

“Kalki 2898 – a grand cinematic spectacle. That’s what big-screen cinema is all about! An unprecedented level of finesse in technical execution. The very best in Indian cinema. Congrats to Nag sir & team (sic).”

Appreciating the good work of the actors, Ranveer added, “Rebel star rocks! Ulaganayagan is forever supreme! And if you are a die-hard Amitabh Bachchan fan like me, you just can’t miss this.”

Talking about Amitabh Bachchan, he said, “And if you are a die-hard Amitabh Bachchan fan like me...you just can"t miss this! @amitabhbachchan,” and went on to praise Prabhas as well as Kamal Haasan, mentioning, “Rebel Star rocks! @actorprabhas Ulaganayagan is forever supreme! @ikamalhaasan.”

Making a special mention of his darling wife and mom-to-be Deepika Padukone, Ranveer expressed his honest thoughts saying, “As for my baby, @deepikapadukone ... You elevate every moment with your grace & dignity. Such poignancy, such poetry, such power. You are beyond compare. I love you.”

Parents-to-be Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone watched the movie Kalki 2898 AD together last night and appreciated the overall performance of the movie when asked by the paparazzi as they came out of the theatre hand-in-hand. Ranveer was dressed in all-black attire, whereas Deepika was seen in a white tee-shirt, black coat and a denim jeans.

Within just six days of its release, Kalki 2898 AD became a smashing hit and grossed Rs 371 crore in India. The film is set to exceed Rs 600 crore mark soon in the world market.
