Sidhartha Mallya, son of fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya, married his longtime girlfriend at their luxurious estate in Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. The couple celebrated their big day with a Christian wedding followed by a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.
While family members and a number of friends graced the auspicious event, fugitive Lalit Modi, former chief of Indian Premier League (IPL), was also spotted at the ceremony.
Modi was suspended from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as he was alleged by the Board to have conducted financial irregularities in his transactions.
On the other hand, Vijay Mallya is also wanted in India as he is accused in an alleged loan fraud case worth above 900-crore.
For the occasion, Sidhartha wore an elegant formal green coat paired with a black pant, whereas Jasmine opted for a white floral body-hugging gown and complemented it with a pearl necklace. For the Hindu wedding, the bride chose to wear a pink lehenga.
