This time, not any Bollywood actor, but it was Ranveer Singh’s maternal grandfather who made headlines. The senior person responsibly cast his vote on Monday in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha Election 2024. Aged 93, the actor’s grandpa set an example for everyone to turn up at the polling booth.
On Tuesday, the ‘Lootera’ actor took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of his grandfather who can be seen posing in front of the camera with the help of a person and a police officer at a polling booth.
“93 yrs old. 93°F outside. But he voted. He’s a voter! My Rockstar Nana,” the actor captioned the picture. Soon after, the picture received immense love and appreciation from his fans and followers. Many celebrities including Dia Mirza and Zoya Akhtar also lauded for his excellent gesture with heart and smiling emojis.
Ranveer Singh, along with his wife Deepika Padukone also stepped out to vote together on Monday. Shah Rukh Khan and family, Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar and many other Bollywood celebrities exercised their right yesterday in Mumbai.
