The inauguration of the much-awaited Ram temple created a historical moment of the decade in India amid the presence of thousands of respectable personalities from all walks of lives.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the grand consecration ceremony at Ayodhya’s Ram temple at 12:26 pm on January 22 (Monday). Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and Governor Ananadiben Patel offered prayers to the newly-unveiled idol inside the temple and performed special rituals for Pran-Pratishtha.
Addressing the nation, PM Modi said, “The entire nation is celebrating Deepawali today with the homecoming of Lord Rama today. Lord Rama is eternal and belongs to everyone. He will now reside at this sacred place to shower His blessings to all.”
“Ram is not fire, He is energy, Ram is not problem, He is the solution, Modi added.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also delivered his speech saying, “Every village, street and city of India is chanting Ram like a mantra today. Ayodhya has breathed a new life as the Ram temple has been finally established where it was supposed to be built.”
On the auspicious occasion, prominent personalities of the country including Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Sachin Tendulkar attended the auspicious ceremony.
