Bappi Lahiri cremated in Mumbai, B-town celebs pay their last respects


King of Bollywood Bappi Lahiri passed away on Wednesday at 69 and cremated in Mumbai’s Pawan Hans crematorium on Thursday after his son Bappa returned from the US.  

Many prominent faces including Kumar Shanu, Shaan, Kajol, Alka Yagnik, Rakesh Roshan, Poonam Dhillon, among others visited Lahiri House in Juhu to pay their last respects to dear Bappi da.

Additionally, other popular figures from the Bollywood industry and music fraternity including Vidya Balan, Shakti Kapoor, Rupali Ganguly, Bindu Dara Singh, singer Abhijit, Mika Singh, T-Series managing director Bhushan Kumar also paid their tributes to the Disco King.

Meanwhile, Kolkata’s Knight Riders team, actor Anupam Kher, Preity Zinta, Ritesh Tiwari took to social media expressing their grief. Asha Bhosle said that she wanted to meet Bappi da , but he feared of meeting due to the pandemic.
