In a recent fresh attack to Congress veteran leader Sam Pitroda’s racist comment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the country “won’t tolerate disrespect on the basis of the colour of skin” and also demanded a response from Rahul Gandhi.

“My country will not tolerate the disrespect of my countrymen on the basis of their skin colour and Modi will never tolerate this... ‘Shehzade aapko jawaab dena padega’.” PM Modi, said while addressing a public gathering in Telangana’s Warangal, further highlighting Congress’s disdain for President Droupadi Murmu for her skin complexion.

The Prime Minister further suggested that Congress now needs a microscope to find their seats in the fourth phase.

“After seeing your enthusiasm in Telangana, today I can say one more thing, Congress"s usual magnifying glass will not be sufficient to find their seats in the fourth phase. Congress will have to use a microscope to find its seats,” Modi said at the rally.

However, Pitroda stoked controversy while describing India as the perfect example of democracy saying that, “India as a diverse country... where people on East look like Chinese, people on West look like Arab, people on North look like maybe White and people in South look like Africa,” that compelled Congress to distance itself from the leader for making such a racist remark.

“The analogies drawn by Mr. Sam Pitroda in a podcast to illustrate India"s diversity are most unfortunate and unacceptable. The Indian National Congress completely dissociates itself from these analogies,” senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said in a post on X.
